Minor injury reported in D300 bus crash

CARPENTERSVILLE  – No one was seriously injured this afternoon in a crash that involved a District 300 school bus and another vehicle.

Carpentersville fire officials said the incident occurred at Skyline Drive and Deerpath Lane in Carpentersville. About 30 students were on the bus. One student was treated at the scene, but the student’s injuries were not considered to be serious.

Fire officials said the crash occurred about 3:30 p.m. today.
