Lakemoor issues

To the Editor:

There has been a lot of controversy over the potties in Lakemoor. There is a lot more than just the potties. This new village president comes in and says he is trying to clean up Lakemoor. I thought he was making a difference to fire the police chief. Great move. Since my family was harassed because of a complaint against an officer.

We also were petitioned last year for things that were the same for the four years prior.

The same neighbors who want the potties gone are the same neighbors who want to move out of Lakemoor. They were walking past our house and scoping out trying to find things to complain about. They also had said they used the same petition for our yard that they used for the potties.

I think Lakemoor needs to clean up elsewhere first. I understand everyone thinks former village president Virginia Povidas was bad. If everyone knew the whole story, I think they would understand better.
