Tee off with Huntley library at fundraiser

HUNTLEY – The Friends of the Huntley Area Public Library is organizing its third annual golf outing fundraiser to take place this month.

The event is scheduled for July 15 at Pinecrest Golf and Country Club in Huntley.

An 18-hole scramble begins at 8:15 a.m. and includes lunch for a single golfer at a cost of $95 or for a foursome at a cost of $360.

library.org/friends.

Players can win $25,000 cash for sinking a hole-in-one on hole No. 11.

There also will be prizes awarded for first, second, and third places.

Mulligans and putting string will be available to buy to better golfers’ scores.

A silent auction and raffles will take place during the lunch hour.

Participants may come for lunch only at a cost of $20.
