Article:	Family loses Fox River Grove home to fire FOX RIVER GROVE – Michael and Audra Smith fled their Fox River Grove home after a neighbor called and told them the garage was on fire. The couple was able to get out before the fire spread throughout the two-story home. Firefighters responded to the fire at 601 Thackeray Lane about 2:45 p.m. Thursday. Crews were able to get the fire under control in 30 minutes before it spread to neighboring homes.
