Report speaks truth
To the Editor:
Don’t let the facts get in the way of a huge tax increase (cap and trade).
In March, Alan Carlin, senior research analyst at the Environmental Protection Agency, produced a 98-page report on climate change that his boss suppressed since “the time for fundamental discussion of these issues has passed.”
Up to this point, the EPA hadn’t done its own research, previously relying on the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change report, to which they have ordered “no new data be considered.” This just shows the findings to be political as opposed to a scientific study.
On March 13, Carlin was told that there should be no meetings, e-mails, phone calls, etc., regarding the report’s findings. One has to wonder how soon Mr. Carlin will be reassigned or retired, since his report doesn’t favor the administration’s stance.
Did you happen to hear about this on your evening news? Me neither. There are others, but the Power Line blog is one place to view the full suppressed report.
Also, if you’re looking to sell your house in the future, a look at the 300-page amendment to the cap-and-trade bill will be interesting reading.
