Woman found dead in Sleepy Hollow pool

SLEEPY HOLLOW – Police are investigating the death of a woman who appears to have drowned in her pool Saturday morning.

About 4:55 a.m. emergency crews were dispatched to the home of 20-year-old Anna Schneider in the 0-100 block of Katrina Drive in Sleepy Hollow.

Schneider was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital in Elgin, but was pronounced dead.

The incident remains under investigation, and police declined to release any additional information.
