Relief fund set up 
for FRG family

FOX RIVER GROVE – Fire officials still are investigating the cause of a house fire here as neighbors rally around the family who lost nearly everything.

Neighbors have established the “Mike and Audra Smith Recovery Fund” at Harris Bank. Those interested in helping the Fox River Grove family can donate money at any branch by making a check out to the fund.

Fire destroyed the family’s two-story home at 601 Thackeray Lane on Thursday. The fire likely started in the garage, but the exact cause had not been determined as of Tuesday, officials said.
