Presentations part of nutritional series

HOFFMAN ESTATES – Continuing a series of nutritional presentations, St. Alexius Medical Center will present “Nutrition and Arthritis: Can Diet Help?” on Tuesday.

Do certain foods or supplements help with arthritis pain? A registered dietitian will sort through the confusion of what might be helpful and what might be harmful.

On July 30, dietitian Kathy Nikas will present “Family Nutrition and Fitness.” She will provide ideas and items to add to family meal planning and ways to move more daily.

The presentations begin at 7 p.m. and are open to the public. They will take place in the St. Michael’s Conference Center on 4 West in Conference Room C at St. Alexius Medical Center, 1555 Barrington Road, Hoffman Estates.

The programs are free, but registration is recommended. To register, call 866-253-9426.
