Family space nights planned at center

WOODSTOCK – The Challenger Learning Center for Science and Technology plans a series of Family Science Night events during the next few months.
Families are invited to the Challenger Learning Center, 222 Church St., Woodstock, for this popular, educational and fun series.
The Family Science Night schedule is as follows:
Friday: Space Art Night with Paul Justen. Learn art techniques and participate in a space art project.
Dec. 4: Family Missions Night. Fly one of the simulated space missions with the family.
Jan. 8: Battle Bots. Build a robot and battle other participants.
Feb. 3: Apollo 13 movie night. Celebrate the 40th anniversary of this Apollo mission in the briefing room.
March 5: Family Missions night. Fly one of the simulated space missions with the family.
April 16: Museum of Science and Industry Night. Join the Museum of Science and Industry staff as they return for this fourth annual evening.
May 14: Rocket building night. Join the Fox Valley Rocketeers as participants learn about and build their own rockets.
