Ex-Woodstock woman repays $44,368
By Jillian Duchnowski
WOODSTOCK – A former Woodstock woman repaid her former employer $44,368 Monday as she accepted a felony plea agreement for theft.
Angela Lynn Sufranski, 33, now of Florida, was sentenced to two years of nonreporting probation, a $500 fine plus court costs, and six months in jail, although she won’t have to serve the jail time if she successfully completes probation.
Sufranski, who had worked in the accounting department of Snap On Tools, and Trisha Marie Bulski were accused of stealing $104,509 from the Crystal Lake company in August 2008. The charge against Bulski, 27, of Skokie, is pending and is next due in court Nov. 10.
Sufranski could have been sentenced to up to seven years in prison for the theft.
Sufranski will be responsible for any of the remaining $104,509 that Bulski does not pay.
“She’s very remorseful, clearly,” Sufranski’s defense attorney Mark Gummerson said.
