To the Editor:

I don’t understand all I know about inflation? We seniors get no raise in Social Security because prices went down.

They will go down two or three years per Washington.

Cook County raised real estate taxes 4.8 percent to 6.1 percent because of higher costs (inflation).

I guess the second page of my high school accounting book was right – “Tell me what you want the figures to show and I will make them come out that way.”
