to aid area hospice

CRYSTAL LAKE – The Kick Up Your Heels for Hospice Barn Dance is planned Saturday.

The annual special event to raise money for the Hospice and Palliative Care of Northeastern Illinois will be from 6 to 11 p.m. Saturday at D’Andrea Banquets, Crystal Lake.

The barn dance is open to adults 21 and older and costs $75 a person.

Participants are encouraged to wear jeans, a cowboy hat and boots.

Besides dancing, there will be a barbecue dinner, drinks, a silent auction and a 50-50 raffle.

This event benefits the agency’s uncompensated programs, including Integrative Therapy, Hope’s Friends Pediatric Palliative and Hospice Care, Bereavement Support, Camp Courage, charity care, and inpatient units.
