SPRING GROVE – Volunteers who want to take a guided walk through and clear the buckthorn from Horse Fair Park in Spring Grove should arrive at the park at 9 a.m. today.

The Land Conservancy of McHenry County is coordinating a cleanup effort to restore the park’s natural beauty. Volunteers will work until about noon.

The park is at 8105 Blivin St. Workers are encouraged to dress for the weather.
