Woodstock's Kayla Beattie won the Class 2A championship Saturday in the IHSA Girls Cross Country State Meet at Peoria's Detweiller Park, edging defending 2A champion Margo Richardson of Mount Vernon. Beattie's sister, Elise, finished third, and Johnsburg's Kelly McNeely was 10th.
