New tea party

To the Editor:

The taxpaying residents of Algonquin, Sleepy Hollow, and other villages outside of Carpentersville, who are forced to send their children to Dundee-Crown, demand a change.

We are sick and tired of having our children exposed to an unsafe, undisciplined, non-English-speaking, culturally divided learning environment.

We should not have to fear for our children’s lives each day they attend school. Our children should not be forced to learn and be immersed in the Spanish culture.

Why must we send our children to a school that has a declining education rating, and a learning curve that is at least three years behind what it should be?

Why must we also suffer from the additional negative attribute of District 300 upon our homes’ marketability and value? Our property taxes certainly do not reflect this.

We need a tea party focused on this issue. Carpentersville must cease its sanctuary policy regarding illegal residents.

We demand change now.
