Toy drive set at Maurices

ALGONQUIN – Maurices is partnering with Toys for Tots to collect toys for disadvantaged children at its Woodcreek Center location.

All new, unwrapped toys collected from today to Dec. 13 at Maurices, 714 South Randall Road, will be distributed to local families by McHenry County Toys For Tots. Donors will receive a coupon for 20 percent off a regularly priced item, according to a news release from the clothing store.

Gifts will be collected for children of all ages. Items from toy trucks and dolls to those more appropriate for older children, such as board games, books and fragrances, are desired.

Toys for Tots estimates that there will be 1 million more children in need this holiday season, the release said.
