Grafton to host food giveaway Thursday

The Grafton Township Food Pantry will be distributing 10,000 pounds of food on Thursday.

Distribution will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the food pantry, located at 10109 Vine Street in Huntley.

Any individual or families in need who reside in Grafton Township are invited to receive the donations, which include meat, fresh produce, baked goods, non-perishables, and household cleaning products.

The Huntley Rotary Club donated the funds to make the distribution possible. The food was purchased from the Northern Illinois Food Bank.
 
The Grafton Township Food Pantry is a non-profit organization supported by grants and donations. It is regularly open to the public from 1 to 4 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
