Residents receive preservation awards

In celebration of May's National Historic Month, the Huntley Historic Preservation Commission recently honored 12 residential property owners with the inaugural Pride in Preservation Award.

The award recognizes property enhancement and maintenance consistent with the essential character of the village, therein contributing to the preservation of the historical, cultural and architectural heritage of the neighborhood and overall community.

Pride in Preservation signs were produced and distributed to the following property owners for placement in front of their homes:
