White Sox host Blackhawks

The White Sox will host a "Chicago Blackhawks Night" on Friday at U.S. Cellular Field.

The Sox will host a pregame party and on-field parade for Blackhawks season ticket holders, and an unnamed Blackhawks player will throw out the ceremonial first pitch before the White Sox take on Boston. Between innings during the game, the Sox will show highlights of the Blackhawks franchise and individual players.

Almost 1,000 Blackhawks season ticket holders have bought tickets to the game through a promotion by both teams. Tickets remain available at whitesox.com, by calling 866-SOX-GAME, or visiting the U.S. Cellular Field ticket office near 35th Street and Shields Avenue.
