BOURBONNAIS – Everyone loves a punting competition, and many of the estimated 9,500 who came out to Sunday’s Bears practice had a lot of fun with punters Pat O’Donnell and Tress Way.

BOURBONNAIS – Marc Trestman and the Bears have put an emphasis on “toughness” this offseason. Mel Tucker has called the new defensive line a “salty” group. We continued to get a glimpse of that in Saturday’s practice, and just think what we’ll see when the pads come on Sunday.

BOURBONNAIS – At 9:52 a.m. Friday, the Bears broke a huddle and began team drills, 11-on-11s, what the fans want to see, and a giant roar came from the crowd. It signified the start of training camp and a 2014 season with high expectations for coach Marc Trestman’s team.
