LAKEWOOD – Mr. and Mrs. Dvoracek of Lakewood, formerly of Arlington Heights, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 26, 2009, with a reception of dinner and dancing at D’Andrea Banquets and Conference Center in Crystal Lake hosted by their children.

RIVIERA MAYA, Mexico – Nicola Krohn and Shane Kern, both of Chicago, were married in a double-ring ceremony Saturday, July 25, 2009, in Riviera Maya, Mexico. They celebrated with 35 friends and family. They also had a local wedding celebration in August at the bridegroom’s family farm in Paw Paw.

Daughters Connie (John) Giblin and Teresa (Joe) Buehler hosted an open house at Briggs Mansion in Rockford. More than 100 friends and family came. Beth’s wedding dress was on display and she wore the pearl necklace that was a wedding gift from Dave.
