SPRING GROVE – Trustees Bob McMahon and Mike Lee were re-elected to the Spring Grove Village Board with 769 and 731 votes, respectively, according to unofficial results.

JOHNSBURG – Longtime trustee Ed Hettermann defeated Lorrie Filippone by 164 votes in the heated race for Johnsburg village president.
RICHMOND – Village Pre­s­ident Lauri Olson was re-elected with 219 votes, according to unofficial re­sults with all 3 precincts reporting.
FOX LAKE – Focused Party candidates prevailed over the United Party and independent candidates who ran for office in Fox Lake.
LAKEWOOD – Erin Smith defeated John O’Hara in the race for Lakewood president.

CARPENTERSVILLE – Voters in McHenry, Kane, Cook and DeKalb counties re-elected two incumbents to the District 300 school board and selected another former board member for the third open seat.

HUNTLEY – Mike Skala was the victor Tuesday night in the single contested race for the District 158 school board.

CRYSTAL LAKE – Voters picked two incumbents and one newcomer for Crystal Lake City Council.
PRAIRIE GROVE – Voters on Tuesday chose Stan Duda to lead the village.
FOX RIVER GROVE – A po­litical newcomer was elected to Fox River Grove’s highest office Tuesday.

CARY – Voters voiced strong support for the vil­lage’s board of trustees, re-electing three incumbents to four-year terms.
LAKE IN THE HILLS – De­nise Barreto will join incumbents Stephen Harlfinger and Robert Huckins on the Lake in the Hills Village Board.
McHENRY – Three incumbents and one newcomer won the four contested seats in the District 15 school board race Tuesday.

Work on township buildings sunk two incumbents this election.
MARENGO – Carole Bartman and Corey Brackmann both won alderman seats Tuesday night for Ward 2 in Marengo.
The incumbent and the co-founder of McHenry County College’s free tuition program were elected to two open seats on the college’s board of trustees.
HARVARD – Incumbent 3rd Ward Alderman Scott Logan held off challenger Andrew Cook.
LAKEMOOR – Newcomer Ryan Weihofen won the Lakemoor village president race Tuesday by 179 votes.
ISLAND LAKE – Island Lake board member Debbie Herrmann won the village president race Tuesday night. She beat board member John Ponio, 474 to 449 votes.
There will be no change in Crystal Lake High School District 155’s school board.
PRAIRIE GROVE – Two Prairie Grove District 46 incumbents were unseated Tuesday, according to unofficial election results.
McHENRY – Two incumbents won the contested McHenry aldermen seats Tuesday night.
WOODSTOCK – In the District 200 school board race, two incumbents and two challengers were elected.
WONDER LAKE – The Wonder Lake Village Board likely will have a fresh face, according to unofficial results.

ELGIN – It might not be the best time to ask for money with unemployment at more than 8 percent in Illinois and businesses struggling around the region, but Elgin Community College will ask voters Tuesday to support a $178 million referendum.
