McHenry County Board District 6 faces unique challenges posed by growth and development, said the five Republican candidates running to represent it.

Six Republican candidates are vying to win the Feb. 2 primary to run against Democratic incumbent Melissa Bean for the 8th Congressional District.

McHenry County Board member Tina Hill is seeking a third term, former member John Jung wants his old seat back, and challenger David Frederick wants to give the board “a blunt dose of common sense.”
