Cary-Grove's Charlie Taczy managed to finish the Trojans' 5-4 victory over Huntley in their Fox Valley Conference. Taczy was down to his last batter, because of the 105-pitch limit, when he recorded the final out.

Loren Strickland, a 2018 Jacobs graduate, still had two years of eligibility left when he had finished his finance degree at NCAA Division II Indianapolis. He played two years at Ball State and now has landed as an undrafted free agent with Detroit.
Woodstock's Julia Laidig took on an unfamiliar role for the Blue Streaks as the team's starting setter in the fall and set the team record for single-season assists. That versatility helped Laidig's recruitment. She recently announced her commitment to Southern Illinois.
