CRYSTAL LAKE — Prairie Ridge's offense creates problems for opposing defenses and even its own head coach. The Wolves' backfield - composed of Jordan Getzelman, who finished with three touchdowns and 235 total yards, and Connor Greenwald - combined for 316 yards and four touchdowns Friday to lead the Wolves to a 43-2 Fox Valley Conference Valley Division win against Huntley.
"We were all hyped up and ready to go tonight," said Getzelman, who has seven touchdowns this season for his team, which is ranked No. 4 in The Associated Press Class 6A poll. "We wanted to come in and make a statement." Read more »
CRYSTAL LAKE — Prairie Ridge needed only nine plays to put up 21 points against Dundee-Crown. The Wolves rolled from there, holding the Chargers to only six total yards in the first half. Quarterback Nick Nissen was 6-for-11 passing for 209 yards and two touchdowns before he and the starters were replaced at the start of the second half.
