Little Shop of Horrors will devour the hearts of theatergoers and leave them craving more!

Williams Street Repertory presents this deviously delicious Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical about a boy, his crush and a blood-thirsty plant who has his mind set on global domination.

WRS’s production of Little Shop of Horrors opens Oct. 6 at Raue Center for the Arts in Crystal Lake and runs select dates through Oct. 29. Ticket prices start at $35.50.

“I am excited to work on this rocking, ‘Stranger Things’-esque love story/cautionary tale with a top-notch cast and design team," said director Joe Lehman. “There will be many new faces for WSR audiences to be wowed by with this musical vehicle that delivers thrills and chills for the entire family!”

WSR's production will feature a variety of Chicago-area talent including Neil Stratman as Seymour and Kiersten Frumkin as Audrey. The cast also features Mark R. Mahallak, Christopher Davis, Brendan Gaughan, Fredrick Harris, Brittani Moore, Emily Senkowsky and Sierra White.

Directed by Joe Lehman with music direction by Evan Swanson and choreography by Jen Cupani, this campy musical based on the 1960's cult horror film has devoured the hearts of theatergoers for over 30 years!

The gleefully gruesome musical follows meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn, who stumbles across a new breed of plant he names “Audrey II” after his co-worker crush. This R&B -singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down-and-out Seymour, as long as he keeps feeding it … blood!

Over time, Seymour discovers Audrey II's out-of-this-world origins and intent toward global domination.
