Aug. 25: Soapmaking class to bubble up at Marengo library

"Melt and Pour Soap Making" will be offered Saturday at the Marengo-Union LIbrary, 200 S. State St., Marengo.

Participants will make three guest-sized bars of soap during the program, which begins at 2 p.m.

A variety of soap bases, scents and colors will be made available.

Registration is required; there is a $3 nonrefundable materials reimbursement due upon registration.

The program is for those 18 and older.
