Cooking fans, Centegra Health System and the Northwest Herald present the 2013 Taste of Home Cooking School! Watch Culinary Specialist, Guy Klinzing as he prepares 10 dishes — from appetizers to desserts — straight from the pages of Taste of Home magazine. Similar to a cooking show on television, attendees watch as the specialist prepares food on stage. Although attendees do not sample the food that is prepared, 10 lucky winners will take a dish home with them! Guy brings his own brand of cooking instruction to his shows, filled with tips, techniques, humor and ... singing! It's a fun few hours for women and men of all ages.
With your ticket purchase, you will receive a FREE totebag filled with goodies (over $25 value) plus a FREE Taste of Home magazine subscription! Come early and visit the Expo before the show from 3:30–6:30 pm. Visit sponsor booths, sample products and register for prizes.
New this year: play Expo Booth Bingo for a chance at a great prize! There will be many other giveaways throughout the show, too!
Hungry? Enjoy a delicious buffet, salad bar, snacks and drinks from the Holiday Inn. (Food and drinks are NOT included in your ticket price.)
Taste of Home cookbooks will be available for purchase the night of the show. You will receive an email before the show with a list of titles available. Make note of the ones you'd like to buy! While the Holiday Inn provides ample parking, this is a very popular event and parking spaces may fill up. A free Shuttle Service will be available that night to and from the Northwest Herald parking lot and the Holiday Inn. The Northwest Herald lot is less than a quarter mile from the Holiday Inn. Please look for shuttle signs.
Tickets are $40 each for VIP Admission (includes reserved seating and a cookbook valued at $25), and $16 each for General Admission seating (first-come, first-served).
