Jolly-Pa-Looza to rock out, raise money for cancer

JOHNSBURG – The second annual Jolly-Pa-Looza will be Saturday at the Johnsburg Community Club, 2315 Church St.

The event, put on by the folks at Walla-Pa-Looza, will feature live music from the bands Rhythmbone and Cover Blondz.

Doors open at 6 p.m., and the music starts about 7:30 p.m. The party will go until 11:30 p.m.

Several meat raffles will be conducted throughout the night, and food and drink will be available.

A $5 donation is requested at the door, with proceeds going to help several area organizations that fight against cancer and local families dealing with the disease. It is a 21-and-over event.

The Walla-Pa-Looza Organization was founded in 2009 to raise funds for cancer research and to help local families who are battling the disease. The group also conducts a summer event – Walla-Pa-Looza – in Johnsburg.
