Nurses from McHenry County to be honored at award ceremony

The Northwest Herald will honor McHenry County’s Everyday Heroes on Thursday, this year recognizing nurses and members of the nursing team for their exceptional service and patient care.

Tickets still are available for the event, which will be at the Holiday Inn in Crystal Lake.

Check-in will begin at 7:15 a.m., with breakfast starting at 7:30 a.m. Keynote speaker Suzanne Hoban, from Family Health Partnership Clinic, will open the event, followed by a presentation of awards.

Nurses from the McHenry County area will be recognized, from Centegra Health System’s charge nurses to nurses at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital and Mercyhealth Harvard. For their stories, visit www.nwherald.com/2018/02/26/tina-schwichow/d1jrqpa.

Tickets are $27 each, and they can be bought online at shawmediaevents.com/e/eh2018nwh or by calling the Northwest Herald at 815-459-4040. Tickets are general admission, and seating is not assigned, unless you reserve a full table of 10. To reserve a table, contact Meredith Schaefer at mschaefer@shawmedia.com or 815-526-4534.
