Month-long One City, One Poet to include slew of Carl Sandburg-inspired events
Don’t be surprised if you see poetry projected onto the Old Courthouse walls in the Woodstock Square this month.
Or if your daily coffee comes with a side of verse.
You may even be moved to write a line or two of your own poetic masterpiece if you stop by the Woodstock Farmer’s Market or step into your office break room.
As part of National Poetry Month, the Woodstock-based Atrocious Poets group is hosting a citywide event throughout the month of April called One City, One Poet.
The group’s goal is to immerse the city in the joys of poetry, and inspire others to love it as much as they do.
