Three people were taken to the hospital Sunday afternoon after a two-vehicle crash in Hartland Township, a Woodstock Fire Rescue District official said Sunday. 

The crash involved a Chrysler Sebring and an SUV at the intersection of Route 14 and Hughes Road. 

Capt. Scott Nieman said the department responded to the T-bone crash about 2:20 p.m. One victim had to be extricated from a vehicle. 

Two people were taken to Mercy Hospital in Harvard, and one person was taken to Northwestern Medicine Huntley Hospital, Nieman said. 

The McHenry County Sheriff's Office wasn't available to comment on the incident Sunday night.
