The winner will be chosen by a select committee of peers who have made their hometown better through their lifelong commitment.
The award will be given at the McHenry Area Chamber of Commerce annual dinner dance, a “Night of Espionage” on Jan. 26.
Frank E. Low was a true legend in McHenry who inspired people to give selflessly back to the area. Of note is Low’s love for the Fiesta Days Parade, which he built into a spell-binding event in McHenry. He also is celebrated with the name of this award because Low was a very key player in McHenry Area Chamber’s early years, being a strong ambassador for the organization. Low also was the owner of Frank E. Low Insurance Co., now owned by his descendants.
The McHenry Area Chamber is committed to rewarding others who have made our lives richer both in our businesses, as well as our homes because they call the Fox River communities home.
