To the Editor:
The wave actually turned out to be a blue tsunami as the Democrats drew 9 million more votes than Repubs in the midterms. It's small wonder as the Donald is dead wrong on just about every issue. The 40 new dems in the House may not be a new record, but was amazing with all of the gerrymandering in the red states and the massive voter suppression.
Now the questions begin. Why does Trump surround himself with crooks and con men? Why does he side with known murderers and not with the American people? What will the Congress do about the humanitarian crisis in Yemen? What will the Donald do about the looming environmental crisis?
Can we use the $27 billion that Trump wants for the boondoggle wall to a better advantage? Can the United States recover from the economic damage done by Trump's bizarre trade war?
Will we ever let the immigrant children out of the cages Trump built on the southern border? Why does he never speak of these looming problems and only choses to speak of the reporters who document these problems as the " enemies of the people?"
Does he really have a mental defect as many of his staff are saying? It's going to be an interesting few months coming up as the indictments start to fly and he starts to issue pardons to the fellow con men who did his dirty deeds.
Will the Repubs in the Senate suddenly grow a spine and go through with the impeachment? Will he try to overthrow the government more than he already does?
