A Gilberts gas station sold a winning Powerball ticket worth $1 million on Wednesday – but the winner has yet to come forward.
The ticket was sold at a Shell, 385 Higgins Road, in Gilberts and matched all five numbers:
5 - 25 - 38 - 52 - 67.
The Powerball number, which this ticket did not match, was 2.
The retailer will receive a bonus of $10,000, or 1 percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket, according to a news release from the Illinois Lottery.
The winner must sign the ticket and visits one of five Prize Centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield or Fairview Heights. More details about the centers can be found online.
Winners have one year from the original drawing date to claim their prize.
