Lake in the Hills police reports

Information in police reports is obtained from the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office and municipal police departments. Individuals listed in police reports who have been charged with a crime have not been proven guilty in court.

• James Velazquez, 43, of the 200 block of Berkshire Drive, Crystal Lake, was charged Sunday, Feb. 24, with possession of a controlled substance and driving while license suspended and was arrested on a warrant for contempt of court.

• Michael P. Murphy, 41, of the zero to 100 block of Litchfield Court, Lake in the Hills, was charged Sunday, Feb. 24, with domestic battery.

• Andrew H. Guzzo, 35, of the 100 block of North Cedar Avenue, Wood Dale, was charged Sunday, March 3, with domestic battery.

• Armando J. Vargas, 58, of the 700 block of Willow Street, Lake in the Hills, was charged Thursday, March 7, with domestic battery.

• Edward D. Ferrante, 22, of the 11800 block of Niagara Lane, Huntley, was charged Friday, March 8, with reckless conduct and criminal trespass to real property.

• Kelli S. Macnaught, 47, of the 3900 block of Peartree Drive, Lake in the Hills, was charged Friday, March 15, with domestic battery.

• Adam J. Zwarycz, 24, of the 3000 block of Red Barn Road, Crystal Lake, was charged Sunday, March 17, with possession of a controlled substance, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood-alcohol content greater than 0.08 percent, driving under the combined influence of drugs and alcohol and speeding.

• Troy D. Patton, 35, of the 100 block of Meadowdale Court, Carpentersville, was charged Sunday, March 24, with battery.

• Christina C. Reckley, 34, of the 4900 block of Crain Street, Skokie, was charged Sunday, March 24, with battery.

• Susan M. Springmeyer, 49, of the 10800 block of Timer Drive West, Huntley, was charged Sunday, March 24, with domestic battery.
