To the Editor:
I want to tell you about a young person I’m proud of for being involved in the village of Cary. I’ve known Tim Ritter since he was a child and watched as he learned to make our town a better place to live that you need to give back. Tim’s parents raised him to be a selfless individual, and wherever he was involved in Cary – with the Jaycees or on his own – he tirelessly gave his time and talent.
Tim has grown to be a strong-minded individual who cares deeply about Cary and is willing to listen to others when trying to solve a problem. I have been proud to see him attend Village Board meetings to better understand the intricacies involved with running a village, and I’m glad to call Tim a friend and thank him for caring enough to do what many are afraid to do – step out, step up and speak out.
