To the Editor:
Thank you to outgoing village of Cary Trustee Jim Cosler on four years of dedicated service to the people of Cary. Four years ago when you were running as a write-in candidate, you made promises to the people, promises you never broke.
I find it to be a rare quality when an elected official actually keeps the promises they campaigned on. Thank you for championing to have village board meetings live-streamed, working with village staff to increase transparency, always standing firm against tax increases on village residents, working with other elected officials to establish fair processes for petitioners coming before the village board and so much more.
You’ve worked hard to keep the playing field fair for all. The people of Cary are very fortunate for your representation during the past four years. While you’ll be missed as a village trustee, I have absolutely no doubt you’ll continue monitoring village happenings, and will keep the people of Cary informed on pending issues/projects and how our elected officials are representing us.
