The Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 932 will be holding its annual Barnstormer’s Day Fly-in and Drive-in on June 15 at Galt Airport.
The event, which will feature vintage airplanes and cars, children’s activities and a 1920s-themed band, will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The airport is at 5112 Greenwood Road, Wonder Lake
The event is free and open to the public.
Barnstorming was a popular event in small towns, where the community would gather to watch pilots take off in their airplanes and perform aeronautical stunts, organizers have said.
The EAA Chapter 932 is about bringing together people interested in learning more about aviation, according to its website. For information, visit https://eaa932.org/.
