HAVARD MILK DAYS, May 31-June 2, Milky Way Park, on Lawrence Road, Harvard. A weekend of fun for people of all ages. Friday events will feature an antique tractor display, market place, food court, cow chip lotto, carnival, concessions, petting zoo, chainsaw carving, entertainment and fireworks display. MISS WOODSTOCK 2019, 6 p.m. May 31, Woodstock Opera House, 121 Van Buren St., Woodstock. The Miss Woodstock Scholarship has been a staple in our community since 1948. Over the years, more than 60 young women have vied for a title that would earn them the scholarship to aide them in their continuing education. This is not your typical pageant; this is a long time Woodstock tradition. We are pleased to be continuing our Little Miss Woodstock program benefiting girls between the ages of 8 and 12 who are Woodstock residents. Ticket: $23 adults, $18 students.

GILBERTS COMMUNITY DAYS, May 30-June 2, Town Square Park, 195 Jackson St., Gilberts. A three-day music festival, which begins May 30 and continues June 1-2, with some of the area's best bands performing. The festival includes a Kid's Zone with free crafts sponsored by the Taylor Family YMCA, a free petting zoo and free projects sponsored by Home Depot. There are food vendors with delicious offerings, and your thirst can be quenched with a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Fantasy Amusements will be at the fest with some of their most popular carnival rides. For car lovers, we offer a car show on Sunday. Bring your own classic car or just enjoy the cars on display. 5 GRANDS ON THE RED CARPET, 7 to 9 p.m. June 1, McHenry West High School, 4724 W. Crystal Lake Road, McHenry. An epic performance made up of five grand pianos and student musicians. Selections from film, television and Broadway will be performed by more than 100 students in groups on five grand pianos. The teachers also will perform two selections as a group. Cost: $10 adults, $5 students/seniors. Children younger than 5 are free.
