Algonquin Area Public Library is having a bus trip to Hamilton: The Exhibition in Chicago on July 10.
The Exhibition is designed to take visitors deeper into the life and times of Alexander Hamilton, while at the same time chronicling the American Revolution and the creation of the United States of America. A dynamic and interactive mix of lighting, sound, multimedia, music and historical artifacts, visitors will experience how it felt to write the way Hamilton wrote, fight the way Hamilton fought and live the way Hamilton lived.
The exhibition features an audio tour narrated by the musical’s author, Lin-Manuel Miranda, along with other members of the original Broadway production of Hamilton.
The event is from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 10 with in-person registration only. For ages 10 and older. Anyone younger than 18 must be accompanied by a caregiver. It is $35 a person, which includes ticket and bus transportation to and from the event that must be paid upon registration. Cash, check and credit/debit cards (Visa or Mastercard) accepted. Limit two tickets per person.
