McHenry County Coroner's Office IDs man who died after Saturday night motorcycle crash

Victim was 42-year-old Arlington Heights man

The McHenry County Coroner's office has identified a man who died Saturday after a motorcycle crash near Bull Valley.

Esteban "Steve" Tellez, 42, of Arlington Heights, was killed in the crash, according to the coroner's office. An official cause of death has not been determined and is pending the final autopsy report, according to the coroner's office.

The Woodstock Fire/Rescue District responded about 11:45 p.m. Saturday to Bull Valley Road near Blackberry Lane to handle a crash. The motorcycle was the only vehicle involved.

First responders took Tellez to Northwestern Medicine McHenry Hospital in critical condition. He later died.

There is a sharp curve in the road in that area, which may have contributed to the crash, fire officials have said.
