To the Editor:

During the worst crisis my generation has seen, we are cursed to have a lazy president. I say lazy because he has done next to nothing to organize and carry out any plans to coordinate PPE supplies, encourage safe behavior or show any compassion for our plight. In fact, he is so lazy that rather than creating a cogent platform to campaign on, he creates a political statement out of wearing a life-saving mask, therefore causing many unnecessary deaths.

Lazy in reference to the discovery that the Russians have been paying a bounty to Taliban militants to kill U.S. soldiers. Trump has done nothing to stop this.

In fact, he claims he knew nothing about this even though there were briefings months ago addressing this huge problem. It's his job to read, interpret and act upon matters of great importance, especially for the safety of our heroic troops.

I say it is time to elect a president who is not lazy.
