McHenry County reported seven new COVID-19 cases on Saturday and no deaths, according to the McHenry County Department of Public Health.
This brings the total number of cases to 2,252, with 101 confirmed deaths and two probable deaths.
Of these cases, 1,814, or 81%, are not associated with long-term care facilities, while 19% are. The total number of unduplicated tests performed in McHenry County are 20,955, with 10.7% of these being identified as positive. For every 100,000 tests, 731.7 come back as positive, according to the MCDH.
McHenry County's recovery rate on Saturday was 94%, matching the state's. Illinois had 152,962 confirmed cases and 7,168 COVID-19 deaths.
In nearby Kane County, there were 8,079 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 281 deaths as of Saturday, and the Illinois Department of Public Health reported that Lake County had 10,318 COVID-19 cases and 428 deaths in total.
McHenry County's Woodstock zip code, 60098, reported the highest number of positive COVID-19 cases, with 390, followed by Crystal Lake (60014) with 345.
