Harvard man arrested on numerous drug charges, accused of being armed habitual criminal

A Harvard man was arrested Tuesday by the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office is accused of having over $30,000 in illegal drugs, according to a news release.

Randall Woody, 40, of Harvard, is scheduled to appear in court at 9 a.m. Wednesday. He is being held with no bond at McHenry County Jail.

Members of the sheriff’s office narcotics task force and members of the U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force served a search warrant in the 21000 block of Route 14 in Harvard where they found two firearms, MDMA, marijuana and other drugs, according to a news release.

Detectives seized about 1,758 grams of marijuana; two handguns; about 11.75 grams of MDMA; 3.5 grams of psilocybin mushrooms; 5.5 grams of hydrocodone; less than a gram of cocaine; $6,013 in cash and $2,000 in money orders from the residence, according to the release.

The estimated street value of the seized drugs is $36,629.00, according to a news release.
