To the Editor:
Here we go again!
This is just another example of government bureaucracy at its "best." There is always an excuse, currently they "all" use the COVID-19 pandemic as the reason things don't run as they are supposed to. Be it BMO Harris Bank, the Illinois attorney general, Comcast, the USPS or the Department of Veterans Affairs.
What it comes down to is, do the job you are hired for, politicians included, instead of the unending line of "do as I/we say, not as we do."
BMO Harris charged my checking account $35 to cancel an order on my credit card. That took three months and at least 10 phone calls.
The Illinois Attorney General, still waiting to hear back for confirmation of a case of identity theft via a Comcast account I never had in Chicago.
The VA, well being a "peace time" veteran gets the bare minimum services. Forget some things never resolved during time of service and now they are deemed pre-existing condition. It does not matter naval service made them worse. Then there was the time we went to sea, to stop Castro's invasion of the U.S. in 1980. No safeties on the boiler, put still we went for the greater good
USPS mailed a packet to Comcast and it only took 14 days to arrive. Paid for express 2-3 days. It took six days to get it delivered after filing a complaint. Still haven't heard from Comcast or Illinois attorney general as to them receiving forms to end fraud/identity theft case!
