To the Editor:
Early in this pandemic when we were still shell-shocked, I was in my front yard and this sweet little girl accompanied by her dad brought me a colored construction paper happy heart. She was making the rounds. I, of course, thanked her profusely and told her she had made my whole day happy. I taped it to my front door and there it's stayed.
So today, months later, I see her approaching my house again with her dad and mom was waiting across the street. This time, she not only put a happy heart on my doorstep but also a painted rock with kisses (x's).
Calista will save this world, and we have her dad and mom to thank.
