Letter: Pollsters are doing it wrong

Love vs. hate!

Outkick's Jason Whitlock said the 2020 election is about love versus hate and Trump supporters voted for the President because they love him and haters voted for Biden.

When Obama was running for president, all his commercials evolved around "Hope and Change" and the media amplified this on all TV and radio broadcasts. The pollsters promoted their opinion of the voters with a mostly accurate pulse of the people; but the last two presidential elections have shown that these same pollsters have turned their polls into a "voter suppression" style today.

They kept polling Joe Biden ahead in voter opinion from the day he entered the race to be our next President and ran his campaign from his Delaware home basement. The media never asked Joe the hard questions or queried his campaign style of working in his basement and not out among the voters.

The media pollsters kept flooding the airways with Biden’s "double digit" lead among "likely voters" and "registered voters" and they skew their polls with sampling more Democrats than Republicans. The liberal anti-Trump media pushed their polls every minute of the 24/7 cables channels and really suppress voters from actually voting thinking it’s in the bag based on pollsters’ small samplings.

U.S. Sen. Susan Collins’ resounding victory on Tuesday may have been a surprise because, before Election Day, the Senator sat 5.5 percentage points behind her opponent in a RealClearPolitics average, but on Wednesday, Collins won by 8 percentage points. Can we extrapolate her results in the Trump vs. Biden election?

Pollsters in future elections put the voters in dire circumstances in choosing the best candidate.
