Parkside Pub postpones annual Turkey Testicle Festival until 2021 due to COVID-19

Parkside Pub in Huntley has decided to postpone its annual Turkey Testicle Festival until 2021 due to COVID-19.

After 38 years of hosting the festival, the pub made an announcement on Facebook that it would not go forward with this year's event.

In past years, the festival was an opportunity for attendees to munch on deep-fried turkey testicles while watching performances by local bands such as the Modern Day Romeos.

Parkside Pub hopes to celebrate 38 and a half years of the festival's history in the late spring or early summer of 2021, according to the post.

The festival was originally supposed to take place on Wednesday, Nov. 25, the day before Thanksgiving, according to event information on the pub's website.

In the Facebook post, the pub promised to provide an update once an event date can be set for next year.
