Battle House Laser Combat is once again joining forces with Canlan Sportsplex to offer three terrific summer camps for boys and girls. These popular camps are a great way for kids to stay active, enjoy time with friends, and learn to develop communication and tactical skills, all while having a blast. The first session will be held June 17th - 21st.
"These camps are very popular every summer," said Doug Huckbody, owner of Battle House Laser Combat in Lake Barrington, IL. "They offer a great opportunity for kids to battle with new and old friends at Battle House, and then engage in fun activities and a wide variety of sports at Canlan Sportsplex next door."
Booking dates are flexible, allowing kids to attend all week or to only attend on select dates to accommodate busy schedules or vacation plans. "Lunch is available through Canlan, and registration is completed through Canlan's website," added Huckbody.
For kids and parents who may not be familiar with Battle House Laser Combat, it is a 15,000 sq. ft. indoor facility that offers a huge, multi-level space for kids (and adults) to engage in tactical laser combat. You won't find plastic vests or cheap laser guns; the weapons actually mimic the real thing, both in size and weight. Infrared light is what brings down the opponent; there is no pain, like you may experience with paintball. Battle House has a host of regular customers who can't get enough of it.
Canlan Sportsplex features an indoor olympic-sized turf field, four official-sized sport floor courts for basketball and volleyball, a running track, a game room, and a full-service cafe. Full-day summer camp options run from 8 am - 6 pm; half-day options run from 8 am - noon and from 1 - 6 pm.
